Horseback Riding Lessons
Carriage Stone’s riding program has the reputation of the safest in the area. While safety remains a constant priority, we are striving to produce better balanced and effective riders. We have put into place a staff of new and familiar faces to offer our student riders a progressive education to become more accomplished equestrians. Our focus will be balanced seat instruction in the English disciplines offering jumping only to those who are solidly prepared on the flat. Jumping will be optional and at the discretion of the instructor. Western lessons are available upon request. We will provide a detailed syllabus outlining the required progression to advance and build-on specific riding skills.
It is our hope to attract and maintain a dedicated clientele of student riders who understand that regular riding is the only way to progress.

In our program, new riders begin in thirty minute private lessons and will be transitioned to an appropriate group when it is safely allowable. Group size will not exceed four riders. Our ten-week sessions will allow for two make-ups but must be used by the end of the session. Make-ups may not be carried over to the next session.
Riders who prefer one-hour private or semi-private lessons may do so in the scheduled ten-week sessions.
Lesson fees:
Standard ten-week session: $400 (payable with the option of two installments)
Semi-private session: $500
One-hour private session: $600
Introductory package of three: $120 (offered only to student riders new to CSF)
Introductory lessons for new riders will be offered in packages of three. Riders wishing to continue may then join the ten week session at an adjusted rate.
Dressage lessons are being offered by our accomplished instructor Kimball Leach who brings much experience and expertise in this discipline. Kim is available for one- hour dressage lessons at $65 per lesson.
