CSF will be competing at several area horse shows through the summer and fall. Riders interested in joining the show team should speak with their instructor or Toby for more information.

Sad News...On Monday, 11/28/05, our old and faithful pony Strawberry was euthanized due to a severe bowel obstruction.

Strawberry was owned by Melissa Gargano of Branford. She was the first boarded horse at our farm in 1996. When Melissa moved to Florida after college in 2003, Strawberry became a fixture in our lesson program. She has taught many young riders over the past two years. She was an energetic pony with a heart of gold when it came to the little ones. We are grateful that Melissa was in town and able be with her pony.

We are all sad and will miss Strawberry very much. She was truly one in a million.

CSF has recently purchased the adjoining ten acres of land to our south. Part of the Donald Augur estate, the new parcel is a beautiful place for our boarders to enjoy. We will be mowing a track along the perimeter for riding. Our local farmers will continue to use the land for making hay. We're excited to have a new place to ride with such a pretty view of the Farm River Valley.
