Located at the corners of Totoket and Augur Roads in Northford, Carriage Stone Farm is set on ten acres and offers a picturesque view of the Farm River Valley. In 1996 we built our facility from the ground up with much help from friends, neighbors and even an occasional passerby. Careful design and layout have created comfortable amenities for the horses and their owners.

We opened our doors exclusively for boarding in the late fall of 1996. While enjoying the quiet setting of a private barn, we also became very aware of the community interest in a riding lesson program. In the spring of 2004 we crossed our fingers and ventured into a lesson program. We purchased two lesson horses and added three experienced instructors to our staff. The program has grown by leaps and bounds and we are now proudly instructing over 100 student riders. We have earned the reputation for providing quality instruction on very safe school horses.

Although every aspect of our farm has expanded, we strive to maintain the small, private and friendly atmosphere so rarely found in bigger operations.
